Product introduction
Hubs, a..k.a. gateways, a.k.a. controllers are devices, consisting of hardware and a software part, which enable the user to add or remove other Z-Wave enabled devices from a network. Each Z-Wave network is uniquely identified by a 4-byte value (e.g. E2 FA 18 2A), called the HomeId, and can host up to 232 devices. Every device added to the network is a part of a so-called mesh network, which means that it can communicate with its adjacent nodes directly and can also relay messages via routing to devices, which are not in their direct range.
The relationship between z-wave gateway and garden water timer
1. The gateway connects wifi router by mobile phone in Tuya or Smart life App
2. And the smart garden water timer connects the gateway
3. The gateway receives signals from the App, and send the instruction to the garden water timer
4. The garden water timer realize automatic irrigation according to the setting in the App, like irrigation in a fixed time or watering the plants by a fix volume.
5. The garden water timer sends the data like the history or user blog to the gateway
