QOTA is a wireless communication protocol developed by QOTO. It has the same communication frequency band as LoRa and can perfectly solve pain points compared with traditional LoRa irrigation system. In remote areas where it is lack of 4G signal, QOTA LoRa valve system could provide stable communication environment. In areas where there is communication congestion caused by excessive 4G devices, the system would keep communication with high quality
QOTA LoRa technology uses spread spectrum and orthogonal amplitude modulation (OOK) techniques. Spread spectrum means that when transmitting data, the information sequence to be sent changes the bandwidth of the signal by increasing the pseudo-code, so that the signal becomes more stable and interference-free during transmission.

Custom Valve Solutions
Our LoRa irrigation system adopts the way of turning Internet to QoTa LoRa to communicate with the sub-devices locally, i.e., the gateway contains three kinds of communication: 4G Internet , wired Ethernet and RS232 connector, which is mainly suitable for the use in remote areas with poor 4G network signals; the gateway has its own solar panels and high-capacity Li-ion battery packs, which support solar power supply and wired power supply two kinds of ways, and the product has the advantages of real-time communication, instant response and energy saving.

Solution for Automated Farm Irrigation System
The automated farm irrigation system is divided into the central control unit(gateway) and the sub device unit(LoRa smart valves) on farm. Among them, the gateway transmits control commands to the smart valves through LoRa wireless network, and the smart valves automatically opens or closes according to the commands to realise automatic irrigation; the gateway collects the operating conditions of the smart valves to realise closed-loop control.
